Don’t miss Scenic Jacksonville’s second Great Cities Symposium at the Garden Club of Jacksonville on Wednesday, October 6th at 5:30 p.m.

Our featured speaker is Ron Littlefield, former Mayor of Chattanooga and a senior fellow with the Governing Institute. Mayor Littlefield presided over the transformation of Chattanooga as mayor, as a city council member, and as a city planner. He will have much to share about how the former industrial city revitalized its riverfront and downtown, making Chattanooga into the popular and prosperous city it is today.

The event will begin outside in the Garden Club’s beautiful courtyard, weather permitting, and then will go into the large ballroom for the speaking event.  Discussion will follow outside along with additional mingling and desserts.

The social hour features signature cocktails – one from Chattanooga and one from Jacksonville, along with beer & wine and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres from Biscotti’s. Peruse and participate in the silent auction with a select number of uniquely Jacksonville experiences.

We will observe COVID precautions so plan to bring a mask for indoors and socially distance where appropriate. A COVID form will be required of all attendees.
