September 25, 2025 – Scenic Jacksonville’s “Scenic Visions 2025: Spotlight on Mayport Village” series kicks off on Saturday, October 4th with its Scenic Visions Trolley Tour from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

This behind-the-scenes guided tour will take guests along Jacksonville’s historic working waterfront including tours of the U.S. Coast Guard cutter, the Marine Science Education Center, the St. Johns River Lighthouse, and more—while uncovering Mayport’s unique history, culture, and future.

The Trolley tour is the first of three in the Scenic Visions 2015: Spotlight on Mayport Village series.

  • Saturday, October 4th from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. “Spotlight on Mayport Village: Guided Trolley Tour”
  • Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. “Spotlight on OCEARCH” a guided presentation and tour of the OCEARCH shark research boat followed by a JTA Ferry ride and talk by the Timucuan Parks Foundation.
  • Wednesday, November 12th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. “Spotlight on Mayport’s Future: Panel Discussion & Reception” at the Gulliford Community Center. The event will focus on new developments and opportunities for Mayport’s working waterfront, commercial corridor, eco-tourism and historic preservation. The event includes a social reception with beer, wine and bites.

Scenic Jacksonville is hosting the Scenic Visions 2025: Spotlight on Mayport series along with Mayport Waterfront Partnership.  Sponsors and partners include:  Greater Arlington Civic Council (GACC), Bright Sail Communications, Fruit of Barren Trees, JTA, OCEARCH, Timucuan Parks Foundation, the U.S. Coast Guard, Marine Science Center, Mayport Lighthouse Association.
